Ivy Meier is a ceramicist based in Osaka, Japan. She uses an untraditional approach to traditional materials and techniques often utilizing historic artifacts as well as modern post-consumer products as the primary source materials to recreate the base. Color is then glazed over the finished product with a mud-dye mix.
the mugs are hand-thrown and fired in kiln. The color application utilizes a traditional mud-dye technique to achieve a unique color and texturization on the natural clay. All mugs are ready to be used.
